Why does Powerview display the incorrect date format ?

Why does Powerview display the incorrect date format ?

Powerview will reference the language set within your browser.  If you are seeing an incorrect date format i.e. US 12/20/24 on all reports, please follow the steps below to change the date format from US to AUS. 

Google Chrome


1. Open Google Chrome
2. Click the three dots (menu) in the top right corner



3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.



4. Select Languages.
5. Under Preferred languages, click on the three dots next to the language you want to use.



6. Select Display Google Chrome in this language.


7. Click on the Relaunch button to Restart Chrome to apply the changes.


8. If the language isn't listed, click Add languages.




9. Search for English (Australia) in the search bar, select it and then click on Add.


10. Click on the three dots to the right of English (Australia).



11. Select Display Google Chrome in this language.




12. Click on the Relaunch button to Restart Chrome to apply the changes.





Microsoft Edge



1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the Microsoft Edge homepage.



2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.


3. Click Languages in the left-hand menu.
4. Click Add languages in the top-right corner.



5. Search for English (Australia).
6. Select the checkbox for the language, and then click Add.


7. Click on the three dots to the right of English (Australia).



8. Click to select Display Microsoft Edge in this language to set it as the default.



9. Click on the Restart button to Restart Edge to apply the changes.




Mozilla Firefox


1. Open the Firefox menu by clicking the hamburger icon with three horizontal lines.



2. Select Settings.



3. Scroll down to the Language section.
4. Click on Search for more Languages.


5.  Click on Select a Language to Add.


6.  Scroll down and click to select English GB, click on the Add button.



7.  Click on OK and then Refresh the page to see the changes.
