Claim Difference

PRODA and COS NDIS claim difference

Part of the issue with the difference is how the NDIS is rounding your claims. They do a conversion of Hours into a QTY which you can see on their Remittance Advice. They then multiply that rounded QTY by the Rate to calculate the total they are paying. This is the downside of using 5 minute increments in Careview. Where you have Hours that end in 5, such as 2:55, their conversion means you won’t get paid the expected total. As an example if you were to use 6 minute increments, the rounding issue goes away as it is a neat conversion when the claim hits PRODA and they do their conversion.
