PRODA and COS NDIS claim difference
Part of the issue
with the difference is how the NDIS is rounding your claims. They do a
conversion of Hours into a QTY which you can see on their Remittance Advice.
They then multiply that rounded QTY by the Rate to calculate the total they are
paying. This is the
downside of using 5 minute increments in Careview. Where you have Hours that end in 5, such
as 2:55, their conversion means you won’t get paid the expected total. As an example if
you were to use 6 minute increments, the rounding issue goes away as it is a
neat conversion when the claim hits PRODA and they do their conversion.
