Each Task will display one or more of the following five icons:

     Edit icon

Delete icon, to delete a Task.  Completed tasks cannot be deleted.

Note icon, which only displays if there is a note entered on a Task.

Attachment icon, which only if an attachment has been added to the Task.

Task expansion icon, click on this icon to expand the Task to view the Note text.

2. Screen Filters

Warning
There are restrictions in place, where you choose to filter by Date Range in the Task Console screen.  You will only be able to view 6 months of data at a time.

All Active Tasks with a due date in the current week will display on the Task Console when the page loads initially. To view tasks with a due date from a wider timeframe, use the Due From and Due To fields.

The screen can be filtered using a combination of the following:
  1. Client
  2. Assigned To
  3. Category (multi select)
  4. Priority (multi select)
  5. Status (multi select)
  6. Due From
  7. Due To
The selected filters will NOT persist if user refresh or navigate to other pages.
Idea
Use the Clear Filter button to clear any preset Filters selected.

3. Sorting your Tasks

You can sort your tasks by various columns to help you find information more efficiently.

Locate the column you want to sort the list by, and click on the column name. This will activate the sort function on the selected page, and a small arrow icon will appear next to the column header, indicating the sort direction.

By default, the Task Console is sorted ascending by Client. However, users have the ability to sort data in ascending or descending order, or from newest to oldest, for certain columns highlighted below.

Notes
Note: Sort is applied on Individual page, not all pages.

Columns with Sort Functionality

  1. Task: Sort by Task title alphabetically, in ascending or descending order.
  2. Client: Sorted alphabetically by default (ascending). Clicking on the header will toggle between ascending (A-Z) and descending (Z-A), based on the client's first name.
  3. Due Date: Sort by the date task is due, from newest to oldest or vice versa.
  4. Priority: Sort Task Priority alphabetically, in ascending or descending order.
Idea
To increase search efficiency, combine filters and Sort columns

4. Pagination

You can choose to display 100, 200, or up to 500 records on the screen.

Total items number displays below the list on the left side.
