Careview has the capability to extract Quickbooks extracts in CSV file format that can then be uploaded into Quickbooks. These Quickbooks extracts are created from the:
1. Invoice Entry Screen (Plan Management).
2. Support Coordination CoS NDIS Claim screen (Support Coordination).
3. Support Coordination CoS Invoices (Support Coordination).
Careview Quickbooks Process Setup
In order to generate the Quickbooks Files from Careview, the following steps must be completed:
- Enable the Quickbook Extract Setting
- Set your Payment Terms
1. Click on Settings (this is the gear icon in the top right hand corner next to your User Name).
2. In the Integration section, click Quickbook Extracts.
3. Set Enable in Invoicing Screen to Enabled.
4. Enter the number of days you allow for paying the invoice in the Payment Terms field. This should match the terms you have in your Payment Terms list in Quickbooks - for example, if you want to use your existing NET 7 payment terms, enter 7 in this field.
5. Click Save.
Plan Management
If the Quickbooks Setting is enabled, when you download the NDIS claim file in the Invoice Entry screen for uploading to PRODA, the Quickbooks Sales Invoice and Bill Template CSV files are also created. These files can then be bulk uploaded into Quickbooks if required.
You can also choose to download the Quickbooks files manually by going to the Invoice Entry screen, selecting the invoices, and using the Download Quickbook File option on the Action menu.
Support Coordination
If the Quickbooks Setting is enabled, Quickbooks Sales Invoice and Bill Template CSV files will be created under the CoS NDIS Claims and CoS Invoices tabs. These files can then be uploaded into Quickbooks.
