How to sync an Existing PACE Budget Category through Careview

You will also need to have the PACE API enabled under your NDIS SyncPro Settings in Careview.



1. Go to CRM > Clients and select your PACE participant (Please see How to enable a PACE client profile if your required client does not display a purple PACE badge)

2. Open the client profile and select their PACE plan (please see How to create a PACE service contract if the client does not have a PACE Service contract)




3.  In the NDIS PACE menu in the top left, select the Sync NDIS PACE option.
Idea
If there have been no changes to the relevant PACE plan since the service contract was last synchronised, you can skip steps 3 to 6.



4. A dialog box will display. Click Retrieve PACE Plan.



5. Select the correct plan from the available Select Plan to Sync options, then click Yes, Sync with PACE.


6. If this is successful, you can then proceed to syncing budgets.

7.  Select the budget category (in the Plan Budget table) to edit. Click Retrieve PACE Plan Budget (please note this will only sync the Budget total amount not the remaining).



8. If there is a corresponding budget within PACE the returned result will display in the drop down and the Retrieve PACE button will turn Green


9. Once selected the Start and End dates for the budgets will be populated along with the management style



10. Click Save. Making note that the action can't be undone once the action has been confirmed


11. The budget has now been synced with PACE.

12. If you need to resync a plan budget (due to a budget category ending or extension) within Careview.  You can do this via the Plan Budget in Service Contract

13.  In the NDIS PACE menu in the top left, select the Sync NDIS PACE option.

14. A dialog box will display. Click Retrieve PACE Plan.


15. Select the correct plan from the available Select Plan to Sync options, then click Yes, Sync with PACE.


16. If this is successful, you can then proceed to syncing budgets.

17. Go to the client's Plan Budget category and click Edit.




18. Click the Retrieve PACE Plan Budget button.


19. If it's successful the Retrieve PACE Plan Budget will be Green and supply the PACE record in the drop down.




20. Once the record in the drop down is selected. A notification will display highlighting the changes you are syncing back into Careview.


21. Once you click Save, a message will display confirming you are wanting to sync the new budget information into Careview.




22. Once confirmed if you were to go back into the Plan Budget you will now see the updated information.



23. For PACE synced budgets you will notice some may have different periods of service. Within Careview these will be validation within the Invoice entry and Streamline. To ensure deliverables are only able to be entered during the budget's set start and end dates. If an invoice has a service for a category but is outside the period of a service this category would not show as an option to select
