Granting Access to Careview Connect
Please follow these steps to grant access to Careview Connect via the Individual Provider record.
Where the individual provider already has an active Connect profile
in another Organisation, a welcome Email will not be sent to that
individual provider.
1. Log into Careview.
2. From the Main Menu, select
Resources >
Individual Providers.
3. Grant Access via either the Create or Edit Individual Provider system functions.
4. Set the Careview Connect Access field to Read Only Access.
5. Once the above steps are completed the following will occur;
a. A Welcome email will be sent with the Username (Email Address) and a temporary password, which the Connect User will need to change the first time they login.
b. During the Login process, the Connect User will be required to enter a Recovery Mobile Number or Email Address. The mobile number or email address will be used for the following system processes.
ii. Recover a Connect Account where a Forgot Password is initiated.
iii. Send a Verification SMS or Email if the user wishes to Change their Username (Email Address) or Recovery Email Address.
c. If a Change of Username (Email Address) or Recovery Mobile/Email Address is required, the Connect User can make these changes from the My Account menu within Careview Connect.
d. A new entry will appear in the Connect Management Console.
Their Status will remain at Pending until they have successfully logged into Careview Connect. Once they have successfully logged in the Status will change to Active.
