Enabling Notifications in Careview Advantage on Android
The following steps can be helpful if issues are being experienced with receiving mobile notifications in Careview Advantage, or where there may be a need to re-enable notifications after having previously disabled them.
1. In your mobile device's app settings page for Careview Advantage, you may want to check the Notifications, Permissions, Mobile Data and Battery pages.
2. In Notifications, check that Allow Notifications is enabled. Check that the applicable Notification Types are allowed, and that Lock Screen Notifications is set to 'Show Content'.
3. In Permissions, it would be important to ensure that all
permissions are Allowed, and that there are no permissions listed in Denied.
4. In
Mobile Data (Application Data Usage), it would be necessary to ensure the
Allow Background Data Usage and
Allow Data Usage While Data Saver Is On options.
5. In
Battery, it may be possible to receive notifications while the
'Optimised' option is chosen, however to ensure notifications are always
received it would be necessary to choose the Unrestricted option.

Whether notifications are received under the 'Optimised' option may
vary depending on how your device's manufacturer has configured it to
handle app behaviour.
6. If issues continue to be experienced in receiving mobile notifications,
it would be recommended to uninstall and reinstall Careview Advantage.
On next signing into Advantage, it would be necessary to
Allow notifications when prompted (as demonstrated in the screenshot below).
