Use the following steps to manually create
a Delivered Service record.

Creating
a Delivered Service manually, instead of creating an invoice via the Service Entry function, is not a recommended approach for day-to-day invoice processing. New Careview clients however may need to manually create the records to
put the Plan Budgets in balance with what has already been claimed in
PRODA.
1. Open the Client Profile record
(click CRM in the menu, click Clients, then search for the client
profile you want).
2. In the Client Funding table,
click Open on the Service Contract to which you will add a Delivered
Service.
3. In the Delivered
Services table, click New.
4. The Create Delivered Service screen
displays.
Complete
this screen as follows:
- In the Service Support Item field, type part of the item number, then
select the relevant item from the list that displays.
- In the Plan Category field, select the plan category for this service.
- The Status field defaults to Ready for Extraction, but select another
status if required.
- In the Contract Support Item field, select the contract support item if
relevant, otherwise leave blank.
- In the Quantity field, type the Quantity of the service if that applies.

If you type a quantity, you
cannot also specify hours.
- In the Service Provider field, select the Service Provider from the
list.
- In the Hours field, type the number of hours for the Support Item, if
that applies.

If you type hours, you
cannot also specify a quantity.
- In the Provider Invoice Number field, type the number of the Service
Provider’s invoice, if you have it.
- In the Rate field, type
the Rate that applies to the service.
- In the Provider Invoice Date field, type the date of the Provider’s invoice.
- The GST Code, GST % and Total fields will fill
automatically.
- In the Delivered Date field, type or select the date from the calendar
when the service was delivered.

If you don’t set a
delivered date, you must enter Delivered From and Delivered To dates.
- In the NDIS Claim Date field, type or select the date from the calendar
when the service was claimed from the NDIS – if it has been claimed.
- In the Notes field, type any notes that are relevant to this Delivered
Service.
- For the Approved by Client check box, tick the box if the client has
approved the Delivered Service.
- For the CoS Entry check box, tick the box if the service is for Coordination of Supports, so that it will correctly adjust the budgets, SC Client List Remaining Hours etc.
- Click Save.
5. The
entry displays in the Delivered Services table.
