When a client has been given a new plan from the NDIS, to save time you can use their existing service contract in Careview to create the new one. To do this, go to CRM, Clients, Locate your client and open their current service contract. Click the Clone button at the top of the screen and enter in the dates for the client's new NDIS plan.
Enter these dates in the start and end dates below also. Choose the details you want to take from your existing service contract by ticking the plan budget, service provider category budget and service supports options. When you click Clone and Save, the current service contract will be sent to an active and you'll see a confirmation message that the new service contract has been created. Click the close button to be taken to the new service contract. If the funding has changed from their previous plan, you can edit your plan budgets to update them to the new values. Any service provider category budgets can be updated as well and you can also edit your service supports to make any changes.
If the total funding value needs to be updated, click the edit button, enter the new total funding value, then click Save. If the new plan started before the previous plan was scheduled to finish, you'll need to change the end date for the previous plan to ensure there's no date overlaps. Go to the client's profile and in the client funding section, look at the starting end dates of your service contracts. Open the previous service contract, click on edit, then set the end dates to the day before the new plan started. When ready, click the Save button and go back to the client's profile to confirm the dates and are showing with no overlap.
