Careview Advantage


  • Updates released for both Apple and Android mobile devices.


Settings


  • New User Management Security Setting.


Bug Fixes:


  • Resolved the following Advantage issues reported;
  • Invoice notifications not being received in the Advantage App.
  • Images not displaying correctly in the Advantage App.
  • Special characters not accepted in the Decline Invoice Reason text box.
  • Service Provider not receiving Declined Invoice emails.
  • Monthly Summary section incorrectly showing the GST Exclusive amounts, for Invoices with GST Code P1.
  • Unable to open PDF invoices on iPhone.


Bug Fixes Pending:


Regrettably, we are still working on resolving the following issues reported as a high priority.  These issues have come about, due to a combination of software changes required to the Advantage App to meet requirements for Apple Store support, App Store changes and a recent release of the new Samsung Predictive Text keyboard.


  • Keyboard issue for Samsung Galaxy S20 preventing users from registering.
  • PIN Field not displaying for mobile devices running Android version 8.0.0.
  • Unable to open PDF invoices on iPad only.


Careview Advantage


In addition to resolving the above issues reported, we have made the following improvements to the Careview Advantage App;


  • The version of the App installed on a device, is now visible on the Login Screen, so you can now easily confirm straight away if your participant has the most up to date version of the app installed.  Example below for Apple devices.




  • Removed the Header Text, to make more room for multiple registered participants.
  • Removed the requirement for “Allow access to Make Phone Calls” on Android mobile devices.  Note this permission is still required for some older Apple devices.
  • Where a participant Declines an Invoice via the Advantage App, the Invoice Details and Reason for Decline are now available in the email sent to the Service Provider, where the Setting has been enabled.
  • The Reason for Decline is also available in the Invoice Details screen.


Please ensure where you receive an enquiry from your participants, that they have installed the latest versions of the Advantage App from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.


Warning:    If the Client Uninstalls the App, and they are unable to login after reinstalling, they will need to Re-Register.  Uninstalling the App is not required for the App Update.


Settings


User Management


The new User Security Settings will provide your Organisation, the necessary controls to manage access for your Users within your Careview Organisation.

The Careview Subscriber User Accounts in each Careview Organisation has been assigned the System Administrator Role.


The System Administrator Role only, will have access to the following new User Security Settings in Careview.



Please refer to the User Management User Guide available on the Careview Knowledgebase under User Guides for full details of this new function.


This replaces the current system access controls that currently reside under the Provider Function in Careview.


Please note the Provider function within Careview is to be utilised for the following purposes.


  • Grant Access to Careview Connect.
  • Repository of all Provider Contact Details.


All User Accounts have been created based on the current Provider Records where the record was Active and Web Login Access was granted.


Please note these changes are part of Phase One.  We are working towards releasing Phase Two of the User Management changes in the coming weeks, which will provide additional permissions across various functions in the Careview System and some Cosmetic Changes.
