Plan Management
Invoice Creation Date Validation
To assist in preventing human error when entering/selecting dates, the following validation has been added to the Create New Invoice screen:
- If Delivered Date is after Today’s Date, Delivered Date field turns red
- If Delivered From is after Today’s Date, Delivered From field turns red
- If Delivered To is before Delivered From, Delivered To field turns red.
Please note the above validation does not prevent the new Invoice from being created. In the below screenshot, the current date is 14/05/2019.

Emailing Manual PM Statement
When manually creating a Plan Management Statement from a Service Contract, the User can now create and send the Statement in PDF format via email.
This process will use the Client Profile Email Address as the default Email To. This can be changed as well as adding additional recipients. The User can also enter the email contents as well as change the Subject Line.

ABA File Creation
We have added the capability for the Australian Banking Association (ABA) file to be generated from Careview. For some of our Plan Management clients, this may mean they don’t have to export external Service Provider Invoices from Careview into accounting packages such as Xero, MYOB and Reckon.
Please note this feature is not yet available to all Clients.
To facilitate this process:
1. A new custom setting has been created that will enable Careview clients to enter:
- Financial institutions abbreviated 3 character code, e.g., “WBC" for Westpac.
- Financial institutions identification number.
- User Preferred Specification.
- Description, e.g., “PAYMENTS”.
2. BSB and Bank Account fields have been added to the Organisation Setting.
3. BSB, Account Number and Account Name fields have been added to the Service Provider records.
4. A Remittance Advice will be emailed to the relevant Service Provider for each Invoice extracted to the ABA file.
5. When enabled, the ABA file can be generated from the Invoice Entry screen.
We will be running end-to-end testing over the next 2-3 weeks with a small group of Clients to gain their feedback as well as iron out any issues. Once we are confident the process is working as needed we will make the feature available to all Clients.
