Advantage 2.0 Client User Guide: Web Portal

The Advantage application is now available as a web portal and mobile app. This guide covers the web portal. To support accessibility this version is screen reader compatible and supports light and dark mode. 


NotesNOTE: If you are a relationship record to a participant or multiple participants, you will be presented with a participant list to select which profile you wish to open.





Dashboard


Go to https://advantage.careview.io/. When you first log into the application, you will see a dashboard view of your profile. 



In the desktop version, your Active and New Service Contracts will be displayed. You can click on any contract to open and view its details. If you need to view Inactive Service Contracts use the Active/Inactive toggle in the top right. 



A list of your most recent invoices is also available. To view the full list, click "See All", or select an individual invoice to open and review that specific record.



Monthly Statements are accessible in a similar way. Use the "See All" option to view the complete list or click on a specific statement to open it directly.



Additionally, you will see a Notifications section, which provides important updates and reminders, including alerts about pending invoices that may require your attention. 



You will need to ensure your notifications are set to enabled via the Account tab:



Select the toggle to enable Push Notifications


Service Contract

When a service contract is selected from the dashboard, you will be able to view all information kept within it; Plan Budgets, Funding periods, Service provider category budgets etc. 

You will also be able see:

    • Service Contract status

    • Remaining Amount

    • Plan Manager details

    • Total budget amount

    • Delivered amount

    • Start date

    • End date

    • Usage Summary graph




To navigate in this view, use the tabs to open each section of the Service Contract




Plan Budgets

Within the plan budgets tab you will be able to see what budgets are in your plan.

You will also be able see:

    • Total budget amount

    • What has been delivered so far

    • Remaining amount

    • Whether the budget is part of a stated support


Funding Components

Within the Funding Components tab you will be able to see how your plan is being split out by Funding Components and Periods.

You will also be able see:

    • The Funding Component name

    • How many Funding Periods are within it

    • Which is the current Active one

    • The Total Funding Amount

    • Total delivered

    • What is the total available to be spent



If you want to view the full Funding Period list for the Component select View All Funding Periods within one of the Components:





Provider Budgets


If your Service Contract has Service Provider Category budgets setup, they will appear under the Provider Budgets tab (please note not all Service Contracts will have these as some NDIS plans don’t require them)

You will be able to view:

    • Service Provider Name

    • What category their budget is under

    • Total amount

    • What’s been delivered so far

    • Remaining amount




Service Supports    


If your Service Contract has Service supports setup, they will appear under the Service Supports tab 

You will be able to view:

    • Support Item name

    • Item number 

    • Support Category the code is from

    • Total budget

    • What’s been delivered so far

    • Remaining amount

    • If the Service support is a stated support





Delivered Services


As invoices are created, delivered service records are listed under the delivered services tab. 

You will be able to view:

    • Service Provider 

    • Item number 

    • Support Category the code is from

    • Total budget

    • What’s been delivered so far

    • Remaining amount

    • If the Service support is a stated support





Invoices


Within the Invoices section you will be able to view all invoices that have been created by your Careview plan manager as well as approve or decline invoices if those settings are enabled for you by them. 

To access invoices from the dashboard click View All


                  


The Invoices list will display


Invoices will be grouped by month. You will be able to filter the list by Date Range and status. 

If needed, you can search for an invoice using the Invoice number and service provider.

To open an invoice record just select one from the list and the Invoice page will display


 

From here you can complete any approval or decline actions that may need to take place or review a history of an invoice via the graphic at the top of the page.


How to Approve an Invoice


  1. 1. Open the invoice.

  1. 2. Select Approve.

 

  1. 3. Confirm your approval.

The invoice status will be updated to Approved. Your plan manager will then start the claim process for this invoice. 


How to Decline an Invoice

  1. 1. Open the invoice.

  1. 2. Select Decline.

  1. 3. Enter your reason (by text or voice).

  1. 4. Confirm to submit the decline.

Your Plan Manager will be updated of the reason provided. 


You can view the Invoice Summary information as well as the line-item list 




A preview of the invoice will be displayed on the right-hand side if the invoice format is a pdf. For any other format of invoices, you can click on the download icon to view the attachment. If your plan manager hasn't attached the copy of the invoice, you can see a warning message here. NOTE: Please reach out to your Plan Manager if the attachment is missing. 


Monthly Statements


Within the Monthly Statements section, you will be able to view all monthly statements that have been emailed in the past by your Careview plan manager. 

To access Monthly Statements from the dashboard click View All



In the list they are grouped by month. From here you can either open one to view or click the download icon to save a copy to your computer. 


Notifications


Your notifications are accessible via the side bar from the dashboard.


 

If you select one of the notifications, the invoice that needs to be approved will open for you to address.

NotesYou will be sent a reminder if the invoice isn’t approved within 24 hours. If no action is taken, a final reminder is generated in 72 hours.
