Add Medication Information to a Client Profile
You can add medication information to a
client profile, using the following steps.
1. Open the Client Profile record
(click CRM in the menu, click Clients, then search for the client
profile you want).
2. Click Medications.
3. The Medication table displays. Click New.
4. The Add Medication screen displays.
Complete this screen as follows.
All fields are mandatory.
- In the Medication field, select the type of medication from the list under the Medication tab in Careview - to extend this list you can use the linked guide Add Medications to Careview
- In the Prescribed By field, type the name of the practitioner who
prescribed the medication to the client.
- In the Prescribed Dosage field, type the dosage amount of the medication
the client takes.
- In the Medication Details field type relevant information about the
medication.
- The Date Prescribed field defaults to the current date. Click in the
field and make sure you select the correct date from the calendar.
- In the Last Administered By field, type the name of the person who last
administered the medication to the client.
- The Last Administered Date field defaults to the current date. Click in
the field and make sure you select the correct date from the calendar.
- Double-check all information
to ensure it is correct.
- Click Save.
5. The entry displays in the Medications
table.
