2FA Access Code Generation Frequency Security Setting
Use this Setting to control how often a Careview User Account will be prompted to enter an Access Code, when they login to the Careview Web Application.
We strongly encourage you to consider
changing the frequency from every 30 days to every 24 hours, which means
the length of time the device is trusted will be limited to 24 hours.
By limiting the time, a device is trusted,
you are limiting the chance of a User being entrapped online by a cybercrime.
The most common type of cybercrime is
phishing, which tricks a User into clicking on a fraudulent email, text message
or web link to then access your online accounts and steal your Clients data.
As custodians of our vulnerable Clients
(Participants), data, we all have a responsibility to do whatever is possible
to keep their data safe by supporting cybersecurity measures and avoid the
possibility of a serious data breach.
Please be advised that this Setting can only be changed by a System Administrator.
Once you have changed the frequency and saved the changes. Please ensure that All Staff within your Organisation, clear their web browser Cookies for this change to take effect immediately.
